Mike’s pursued the intersection of new media and marketing since joining Apple Computer’s Macintosh Division in the mid 1980s. After leaving Apple, he founded an interactive marketing agency that developed digital sales and marketing tools for Fortune 1000 clients. A web developer since 1994 Mike has extensive experience in bringing complex projects to successful B2B and B2C launches. As a Director of Business Development for Sapient, he was responsible for winning over 10 million dollars of business per year.
In 2002 he began consulting with social media startups and corporate clients on social architectures, product definition and marketing. Clients included Broadband Mechanics, EMI Music, AOL, BlogTalkRadio, Affinity Circles and MCC.
As VP, Emerging Media at McGrath/Power Public Relations he defined their social media practice, trained staff and delivered successful social media programs for the agency’s clients.
